Traditional Style Sith/Jedi Costumes
There are 3 costume sets that fall under the Traditional Style. They are the Sith apprentice style, the Dark Jedi and the Gray Jedi. These costumes follow a more strict path just as a uniform of the Sith Academy or the Jedi Order would expect. Below is the requirements for these three costumes. Differences between the 3 different costumes will be denoted under each separate style.
Sith Apprentice Style
All of these will be primarily black, red, or purple with allowances for other colors as trim for various components. Leather products (boots, pouches, and belt) will require color cohesiveness with the colors of the rest of the components and costume. Acceptable Lightsaber colors for the Sith Apprentice is Red, Purple, or Orange
Traditional Dark Jedi Style
All of these will be primarily brown, grey, black, and possibly tan or white, with allowances for other colors as trim for various components. Leather products (boots, pouches, and belt) will require color cohesiveness with the colors of the rest of the components and costume. Choosing black and red as the theme here will also not fail you, but it will confuse the viewers and they may well call you Sith. This is not an issue, but we would prefer those aiming for that color scheme to just identify as Sith, but that again is not going to keep you from passing. There is no limitation on lightsaber color for the Dark Jedi.
Traditional Gray Jedi Style
All of these will be primarily brown, tan, grey, black, and possibly white, with allowances for other colors as trim for various components. Leather products (boots, pouches, and belt) will require color cohesiveness with the colors of the rest of the components and costume. Combining black and red is not a choice for most grey Jedi based on the preference of those colors by the Sith and dark Jedi. If you choose those colors you will not fail, but you will not be considered a grey Jedi. Acceptable lightsaber colors for the gray Jedi is anything except red.
Tunic
Tunic, long or no sleeved. Nes'ari (Membership Officer) has the final authority on color. Full or false inner tunic in similar color scheme as outer tunic (dickie / full & mock turtlenecks, mandarin style collars ok). If optional inner tunic is used and long sleeved, then outer tunic may be sleeveless. No visible t-shirts or visible laces.

Boots
Proper footwear may include boots - Leather or leather-like; must rise at least to the calf, but not above the knee, foot / leg wraps that cover work/military boots or shoes (with laces and/or any insignias covered.) Color options are to coordinate with the above items. No rubber boots allowed. No visible laces. Straps & shin-spats are allowed but are not required. The heel may not exceed 2 inches in height. The color of the belt and boots should match, but some variation between the two items may be permitted and are subject to the ruling of the Inquisitors. We may ask that some pulls get painted to match boot color for a better look. This is something that you may not have thought of, but will add to the quality look of the costume as a whole.
