Darth Vrolok
|
Location: Dathomir Temple / Spire of Shadows - Mexico Affiliation: Custom Sith Lord DARTH VROLOK
Race: Anzati Gender: Male Era: Galactic Empire Home World: Anzai Affiliation: Sith Lord Lightsaber Description: Single red blade Character Bio: Darth Vrolok was born Drakul Jerriko and displayed strong Force abilities at a very early age. His first contact with the Dark Side of the Force was on Kiffex, where he was telepathically drawn to by imprisoned Sith magician Volfe Karrko. There, along with many other Anzati, Drakul’s essence served to nourish Karrko, and only his strong connection to the Force prevented the young Anzati from devolving into a beastly slave like the rest of his kin. |
Over the next decades, Drakul became a successful bounty hunter, feeding on his targets as his Anzati nature demanded. In pursuit of a particularly dangerous prey, his ship was badly damaged and crash-landed on the small planet of Carpathia in the Outer Rim.
Drakul was severely wounded and would have died if not for the intervention of rogue Sith assassin Darth Edicius, who rescued him from the fiery wreck. The Anzati’s face had been badly burned in the explosion, and even worse, his feeding tendrils had been rendered useless.
Darth Edicius made Drakul an offer: he would provide a life support mask with cybernetic tendrils if he accepted to become a Sith apprentice. Drakul accepted the proposal and, upon wearing the fearsome mask, was reborn as Darth Vrolok.
Under his master’s tutelage, Vrolok became an enforcer and blade-for-hire for crime lords and corporate barons until the Great Jedi Purge, when he started assassinating Jedi Knights for the newly formed Galactic Empire. With his Force abilities and Sith training, he began preying on fugitive Jedi, and through consumption of their essence he became stronger and stronger in the Force.
Vrolok’s increasing power was deemed a threat by Darth Edicius, who decided to eliminate his apprentice before it was too late. But as Edicius confronted the Anzati and reached for his lightsaber, Vrolok waved his hand and forced his master into stillness. Unable to control himself, Edicius watched in horror as his own hand directed the lightsaber hilt towards his chest. With a second gesture from Vrolok, the weapon ignited and Darth Edicius was promptly impaled.
Darth Vrolok boarded his new ship and left Carpathia for good. A dark and voracious force was unleashed upon the Galaxy…
