Takamatsu was originally a relic hunter that was captured while exploring ancient Sith ruins. Rather than kill Takamatsu, Lord Adraas decided to use him as a tool for the Sith Empire after he had felt the strength of the force within Takamatsu. Takamatsu willingly gave himself over to the Sith seeing it as an easy way to learn the history he had always been searching for during his search for ancient Sith artifacts. Although never fully realising the force within himself, Takamatsu adapted amazingly quickly to weilding a lightsaber and took part in the slaughter of many Jedi during the Sacking of Coruscant.

Second Character Bio:
Name: Takal Rai Costume Category: Custom Dark Jedi Costume Era: Old Republic Species: Kel Dor Weapon Used: Amber lightsaber Force Powers: Notable Force Power: Yellow lightning variation of Electric Judgement, this lightning attack was not powerful enough to kill but a single blast would numb an opponent and would drop them to their knees from where Takal can decide their sentence. Character History: Coming from a lineage that had proved to be strong in the force, Takal Rai's elder relatives had been part of the Baran Do sages, Takal Rai was taken from Kel Dor at a young age to be trained at the Jedi Academy. As it turned out Takal wasn't the most skilled with the force but was amazingly headstrong and assertive and a formidable opponent with a lightsaber. When he was 7 years into his training he heard that his Father's ship had been destroyed in a raid by weequay pirates. Takal wanted the Jedis to investigate, but they seemed uninterested and a half hearted investigation was carried out with no significant information revealed. Takal felt that if he had been there with his Father then he would have prevented his Father's death. For this he blamed the Jedi council for taking him from his family home. Takal flew back to Kel Dor to comfort and to be with his family. Takal was away from the Jedi academy for 4 months, and decided he no longer felt the need or desire to be there, he could find further teachings on his own without the restrictions of the Jedi council. As time went on, he never forgot his Father and one day he was spending time alone in a cantina on Nar Shadda, named the Jek Jek Tar (it allowed rooms for alien non-standard atmospheric conditions and was popular with the Kel Dor). Takal came across a rowdy group of pirates that had been drinking heavily and boasting about their exploits, Takal had a strong force vision, his father's killer was here! In a fury Takal's lightsaber lit up and the 7 pirates were dead within a minute. Takal felt empowered, the force flowed strong through him, he knew he had done wrong, yet he felt good for having avenged his Fathers death. He felt guilt, yet justice had been done, this in his eyes was a fair balance. "Dark with the Light", and this would be the way he lived his life from now on. Takal didn't see himself as a Sith, yet the Jedi's weak nature meant that fair justice was rarely carried out. Takal would be happy to carry out his own justice for any wrong doings (revenge!) and this he did, acting almost like a bounty hunter for his own personal gain. Personal gain could mean for his own reputation with a faction, or to simply rid himself of an enemy - of course sometimes carrying out his own form of justice just happened to give a few monetary rewards too, which always helped in his frequent visits to the cantina. Takal was shunned by most and feared by others, but he didn't care, he liked the solitude and his own company. |
